WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently did an interview with Sky Sports. During the interview, he mentioned how he went to Vince McMahon a few months ago to tell him that he wanted to retire this year. The reason for his retirement is due to how his body has been feeling.
Angle brought up how he signed a contract to remain with WWE in a backstage role to help the younger talent behind the scenes and will be on the road with the main roster stars.
Angle is slated to take on Baron Corbin in his farewell match at Sunday’s WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view event in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium on the WWE Network.
