On last night’s (Mon. March 18, 2019) episode of Monday Night RAW, WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle announced who he’d be facing in his retirement match at WrestleMania 35. Angle named Baron Corbin as his opponent for this year’s “Show Of Shows.” This announcement was extremely underwhelming to fans around the world – especially with names like John Cena being speculated.
After Angle’s announcement, he continued his farewell tour with a singles bout against Chad Gable. During the match, however, fans retaliated by chanting things like “CM Punk” and “We want Cena.” WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross, as well as Angle’s wife, Giovanna, seem to agree with fans. They posted the following on Twitter after the news was announced (Giovanna’s Tweets have since been deleted and have been replaced with quotes):

Giovanna initially responded to Ross’ Tweet by saying “Very,” before deleting it.
