TNA star Kurt Angle was on commentary for the Bobby Lashley vs. James Thompson fight at last night’s Bellator 145 event. When asked about possibly fighting Angle said, “I’m not gonna tease everybody, but there’s a possibility. We’ll see…but I’m getting my feet wet here in Bellator and having a good time. I’m going to sit back for once in my life, relax and watch and eventually I’ll make that decision.”
Later in the show, Angle announced that Ken Shamrock would take on Royce Gracie, and the fight will happen on February 19th at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. During that announcement, Angle said that while he hopes to fight Ken Shamrock one day but that fight would not take place on February 19th.
Angle’s current contract with TNA expires in January and he has gone on record by saying that he would not be re-signing with them.
