As we’ve noted, KUSHIDA will be one of a few New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) stars making their departures from the company. Now, we know who will be KUSHIDA’s final match under the NJPW banner. It has been announced that KUSHIDA will be taking on IWGP Heavyweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi.
The match will go down at “Road To New Beginning” from Korakuen Hall on January 29th. KUSHIDA has been on record of saying that he has always desired to compete against his longtime mentor and friend.
