During the opening match of the final episode of AEW Dynamite before Christmas, Adam Cole’s present was confirmed to be Kyle O’Reilly, as O’Reilly made his debut in the company.
The show would kick off with Adam Cole facing off against Orange Cassidy, with O’Reilly appearing late in the contest to help Cole secure the victory. Bobby Fish would head down to the ring and distract the referee, before O’Reilly emerged from the crowd attacking Cassidy setting Cole up for the 1-2-3.
After the match, The Young Bucks would stare down Cole who would leave the ring with Fish and O’Reilly perhaps suggesting an impending breakdown between the Bucks and Cole.
