During Monday night’s RAW broadcast, Lana was attacked by Shanya Baszler and will no longer be competing in the WWE Women’s Tag-Team Championship match at TLC.
During the show, Lana defeated Nia Jax in a singles match but was then attacked by Jax and Shayna Baszler in the post-match segment. Jax hit Lana with several leg drops, while Baszler stomped on Lana’s arm.
WWE later revealed that Lana was taken to a local medical facility and has not been “cleared to compete” at TLC. That means Asuka will have to find another partner to face Jax and Baszler for the tag-team titles.
WWE TLC takes place this Sunday night and will air live on the WWE Network.
