There have been serious questions regarding Bruce Prichard’s position with WWE following the retirement of Vince McMahon.

McMahon retired last month, due to the ongoing investigation into alleged misconduct with female employees.

It was recently reported that Jeff Jarrett has been released as WWE’s Senior Vice President of Live Events, after being hired for the role in May.

A new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that bringing Jarrett in was a Prichard decision, suggested to McMahon who agreed.

This latest move has led to questions internally about Prichard’s role with WWE, where he serves as Executive Director.

Many Superstars perceive Prichard as a “Vince McMahon guy” more focused on entertainment while Triple H is more about the wrestling side of things.

It was Triple H who rehired ‘Road Dogg’ Jesse James, who has replaced Jarrett as SVP of Live events.

Jarrett is not considered to be a member of the team that is close to Triple H unlike Road Dogg.

Speaking on his ‘Something to Wrestle With’ podcast, Prichard said that these are “exciting times.”
