Charly Caruso will be departing from WWE when her contract ends. There’s no word yet on when the deal is up, but she won’t be appearing on programming going forward.
She gained heat backstage after consistently being late to conduct interviews meant for Raw. There were specific instances with Randy Orton and Sheamus that led to WWE taking her off television for the time being after word got back to higher-ups. Vince McMahon got word of the tardiness himself and took exception to the situation.
Dave Meltzer mentioned on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio that there was heat on her from too many different people.
“I heard she was fired and then other people reported that she’s just not gonna be used and they are gonna wait for her contract to be out. I don’t know which one of those is accurate. She had too much heat with too many different people and that was the story. That’s why the new guy was brought in to replace her.”
