We noted earlier on the site that it was reported that Edge suffered a torn triceps while taping his match with Randy Orton for last night’s WWE Backlash PPV.
Dave Meltzer noted on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that the WWE Hall of Famer was actually injured during the second set of tapings for the match.
WWE wanted to do re-takes for the match. It’s unknown during which spot Edge suffered the injury.
The match was originally shot on June 7.
