Pwinsider have shared some details on Jeff Hardy’s DUI case. The hearing finally went ahead yesterday after numerous delays. Hardy was not present at the hearing himself, but his attorney represented him.

As a result of the hearing, a case management conference has been scheduled for February 23rd at 1:30pm. A case management conference (or a CMC) is when both sides, the lawyers, and the judge meet to talk about how to handle the case. Most civil cases have a CMC and it usually happens between 120 and 180 days from the filing of the lawsuit. There will also be depositions next week with the police officers involved in the case.

Jeff was arrested on June 28th, 2022 on charges of:

  • DUI (Alcohol or Drugs)
  • Third offense within ten years
  • Driving while license canceled/suspended/revoked
  • Violation of restrictions placed on driver’s license

The DUI charge is a felony under Florida law, punishable by up to five years in prison. The other charges are misdemeanors.
