WWE booked Seth Rollins vs. Rey Mysterio in an Eye for an Eye Match on the card for Sunday’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view event in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center.
Mysterio lost the match after having his eye taken out. Dave Meltzer reported on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio episode that Mysterio still has not signed with WWE as of last night.
The original plan for the match had been a taped, cinematic-style one, with CGI effects showing Mysterio lose the eye. That didn’t happen.
