Former WWE and AEW star Lio Rush was a recent guest on “The Angle Podcast” and discussed his brief stint with All Elite Wrestling.
According to Rush, he wasn’t a big fan of his gimmick in AEW and says it’s something he would have never chosen himself. He said,
“It was a character or gimmick thrown on me that I would’ve never chosen myself and I had to work with that. I had to adapt and kind of figure out where I wanted the character to go because there weren’t a lot of pointers.”
Rush is currently a free agent after his AEW contract expired back in February.
