Here’s a live fan report from last night’s SmackDown Live from Toronto, Canada. Credit to Kurt LaFrance & PWInsider.

“I attended last night’s Smackdown Live in Toronto.

A few off air notes…

Crowd was solid. Bottom Bowl was filled and upper deck was about 80% full but tarped off on the hard camera side.

Pre-Smackdown match saw Aiden English & the Ascension take on the Hype Bros. and Luke Harper. Crowd was HUGE into Harper. Loud “We want Harper” Chants from the moment the bell ran until he tagged in for the big finish. Harper with the win for his team with the discus clothesline.

Don’t know how it came across on TV, but the cheers and chants for Jinder Mahal were massive. He was born in Calgary, so that played a part.

I would estimate probably at least half the crowd left after SD prior to 205 Live. I really wish they would change the order and have 205 before Smackdown. The 205 guys were going hard, but it’s gotta be such a buzzkill to see half the crowd leaving. Prior to 205, they announced that Kevin Owens & Baron Corbin would face Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles in a street fight after 205 was done…..didn’t seem to stop people from leaving! WWE has given people no reason to care about 205 and it shows!

Styles/Nakamura with the win in a relatively quick match.”
