Lots of Backstage MLW News – Morale High, Zero Hour Attendance #’s, Injuries?



The recent MLW Zero Hour event in Dallas, TX drew 1,387 paid fans. There were around 1,500 people in the building. That was a legitimate sellout.

Speaking of MLW Zero Hour, the company had their best merchandise night in the history of the promotion. Nearly 40% of the sales came from Marshall and Ross Von Erich merchandise.

There were some travel issues for MLW’s Zero Hour event due to some severe weather in the Dallas, TX area. Richard Holliday arrived late, but in his ring gear and ready to go. Also, a car full of MLW officials had to pull over and take shelter due to an imminent tornado warning while they were on the highway.

There were no major injuries coming out of MLW’s Zero Hour event. With that being said, Zeda Zhang is suffering from a previous injury.

Hijo de LA Park missed the Dallas event due to a visa renewal delay.

Salina de la Renta was not in Dallas, Texas for Zero Hour.

The backstage morale at the TV tapings was high due to a potential TV deal but Court Bauer declined to comment.

MJF’s MLW contract will be expiring in a couple of months.

MLW has scheduled meetings in Japan in the coming weeks.
