As many of you know by now, former WWE Superstars Adam Scherr (Braun Strowman) and FTR appeared at last night’s ROH Final Battle pay-per-view event. Scherr wound up coming out to help EC3 take out Eli Isom, while FTR got into a brawl with ROH Tag-Team Champions The Briscoes.

According to a report from Fightful, both Adam Scherr and FTR were kept hidden before the show and only a select few people knew they’d be appearing.

Following Rok-C’s win over Willow Nightingale, Deonna Purrazzo issued a challenge to Rok-C. Also, Westin Blake came out as part of EC3 and Scherr’s “Control Your Narrative” group. According to sources, Purrazzo and Westin Blake were not kept hidden and were seen at the venue throughout the day. Most of the Ring of Honor roster arrived in town Friday evening. There was a 2:30PM call time for the show on Saturday.

It should be noted that many of the wrestlers in attendance saw the event as a “goodbye” to ROH rather than a “see you in April” type deal. As you know, the promotion claims they will be returning from their first quarter hiatus with their Supercard of Honor event. Many of the talent were seen saying goodbye to former owner Cary Silkin. There were also lots of photos taken and phone numbers were exchanged.

The main event of ROH Final Battle was reportedly cut short. The match was originally set to go around 25 minutes. There were some timing issues throughout the show and they had to be off the air by 10:59PM.

Additionally, Sledge is said to be doing OK following a scary dive to the outside of the ring.

Ring of Honor is said to have filmed segments for episodes of ROH TV that will air through the end of the year, including a Christmas episode.

MLW Superstar Gino Medina was spotted in town for the show.
