According to a new report from Prowrestlingsheet.com, Lucha Underground women’s wrestler Catrina (Karlee Perez) wants to try her hand at acting. Perez told the website that she fell in love with “character development” when she started training in FCW. Dusty Rhodes was her trainer at that time.
Perez says she signed on with a manager and started receiving call backs for roles in Orange is the New Black and Gotham. Once she began working with Lucha Underground, she was able to land an agent and is now going to weekly auditions.
