Madcap Moss made his return to WWE on this week’s episode of SmackDown with a new gimmick and theme song.

Moss came out to the ring and announced that he’s not “joking around” anymore. The SmackDown Superstar, who was no longer wearing his trademark suspenders and had a more serious look and tone, said that he recently buried his past self and called out Happy Corbin. This led to Adam Pearce coming out and making another rematch between the two men. Moss lost that match by DQ after hitting Corbin with a chair.

Due to this, we’ll see yet another rematch between the two, as they’ll be facing off in a No Holds Barred match at Sunday night’s WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event.

On May 31st, WWE filed a new trademark for the term “SmackDown”.

The trademark description is described as follows,

Mark For: SMACKDOWN trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; bandanas; championship trophy belts.
