The main event of night one of Wrestle Kingdom 14 appears to be set in stone after King Of Pro Wrestling.

Kazuchika Okada successfully defended his IWGP Heavyweight Championship against SANADA while Kota Ibushi successfully defended his right to challenge for the championship against EVIL, the partner of SANADA.



Ibushi and Okada would then engage in a confrontation where the former would tell the champion that it is “no fun” watching him at the top all the time. The two would then make their main event match official for January 4.

As for night two on January 5, Ibushi still hopes that he will be able to challenge the IWGP Intercontinental Champion, whomever that may be, with the intention of being a dual champion by the end of the two-night spectacular.
