Recently released WWE Superstar Mandy Rose had no indication that her time with the promotion would be coming to an end this week.
Rose lost the NXT Women’s Championship during this week’s episode to Roxanne Perez, ending her reign at 413 days.
Earlier today, Rose was released from her contract with the company over content posted on her ‘FanTime’ account.
Bryan Alverez of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that “she was very much caught off guard by the firing.”
Depending on whether she signed her latest contract while in NXT or on the main roster, Rose is subject to either a 30 or 90-day non-compete clause.
