Maria Kanellis-Bennett isn’t sure she would work with Tessa Blanchard, as the latter’s heat within the wrestling world isn’t going away.
In 2020, Blanchard was accused of using racist language at fellow wrestlers, and more claims about unprofessional behavior have since come out.
Speaking on the Just Alyx podcast, Maria was asked if she’d consider working with Blanchard as part of her ‘Women’s Wrestling Army’ promotion.
“I know of Tessa through passing. I don’t know her on a personal level. I’ve worked with some of her close friends in IMPACT Wrestling. I’ve worked with people that were at her wedding, but personally, I don’t know her.
“If an opportunity to [work with her] rises, I don’t know.”
There had once been plans for Blanchard to be the main star of the Women of Wrestling promotion, but a falling out led to her departure from the company.
