The delayed Marvel Lucha Libre Edition: The Origin of the Mask, which will feature talent from AAA, has received a new release date and will land on Disney+ next week.
The show was announced in October of last year and was scheduled to premiere last month, but that did not take place.
On Twitter, the AAA account confirmed that the show will air on Disney+ on January 18. They wrote,
“The moment has come! Nobody can give up. “Marvel Lucha Libre Edition: The Origin of the Mask,” original series narrated by Franco Escamilla, premieres on January 18 on Disney+ Latinoamerica.”

The show will see high-flying action from AAA talent portraying characters inspired by Marvel’s heroes and villains, including Captain America, Black Widow, Venom, and Thanos.
Before the AAA Noches de Campeones event on December 28, Aracno (Spider-Man) captured the Marvel Lucha Libre Championship.
