– As we have previously reported, Global Force Wrestling (GFW) star Tyrus took to social media to announce he is refusing to work GFW tapings in Orlando this week as he and his fans have been “Handcuffed and treated like a second-class citizen creatively” for the past few weeks. WWE Superstar Matt Hardy took to Twitter to praise Tyrus for recognizing his own worth and standing up for himself:
Worked closely with Tyrus, loved it. Super talented, smart & witty. A legit crossover star. Glad you recognize your worth when others don't. https://t.co/9uQlpraTy3

– Recently released WWE Superstar Austin Aries recently did an interview with ClickOn.co to promote his new book, Food Fight. ClickOn admitted to intentionally staying away from professional wrestling talk in the interview, claiming “Austin may be a world-class performer but his depth in terms of the things he’s working on outside of the ring is what we should all be focusing on here.”
Aries did, however, tease a potential in-ring return on Twitter recently, saying it will feel ‘so sweet’ the next time he hits a brainbuster:
The next brainbuster I hit is going to feel so sweet…

– There have been numerous reports going around that WWE Champion Jinder Mahal will accompany undefeated mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Arjan Singh Bhullar to the Octagon as he makes his UFC debut UFC 215 this September. Mahal told Sportskeeda that he will not be walking Bhullar to the Octagon, but will instead just be in attendance to support his friend:
“I’m just going to be in attendance,” Jinder said. “I will be there in attendance. I will be there cheering him on. So that’s my only involvement. You know, (he is a) good friend of mine. Also first Indian UFC fighter, so I’m very happy for that. I wish nothing but success to him. I will be there only cheering him on.”
