Matt Hardy is still scheduled for The Big Event convention in New York City this weekend.
Conflicting reports about his status at the convention started when it was reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Matt was pulled from The Big Event.
The report stated that the reason he was pulled because of his affiliation with AEW and WWE already telling promoters that should they booked WWE stars for conventions, no AEW talent can be booked as well.
PWInsider confirmed Matt’s booking for The Big Event last week, but he was never added to The Big Event website.
Convention vendor RF Video confirmed earlier this morning that Matt is still scheduled for The Big Event.
