Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Matt Riddle is asking the judge to throw out the lawsuit filed against him by Candy Cartwright again.
This time, he has written to the judge, who has already removed WWE, Gabe Sapolsky and EVOLVE as defendants in the case. They also filed a motion claiming that Cartwright wants $10 million to settle.
She is claiming that Riddle choked her and forced her to perform oral sex on him back in May of 2018. She says the offenses took place on a bus leaving EVOLVE 104 in Summit, Illinois. She then claims that Riddle prevented her from getting booking dates with WWE.
