Following her appearance at AEW’s New Year’s Smash episode of Dynamite, Mercedes Martinez is now officially #AllElite.
After her appearance, Martinez has now commented on her arrival in AEW on her Twitter page. Taking to her social media page, Martinez had this to say:
“The hustle/grind never stops! Blessed, humbled & READY to be UNLEASHED! Thank u @TonyKhan @AEW To everyone that believes in me & what I can bring to wrestling. Cheer, boo, hate, love me…but RESPECT ME & what I continue to bring to this business. #RUGGEDandTHUGGED #OGBADASS”

Mercedes Martinez had previously appeared in AEW on two occasions. She first debuted at the inaugural All Out pay-per-view in 2019, appearing as the “Joker” in the Casino Battle Royale match. Martinez would then wrestle on an episode of AEW Dark in November of the same year teaming with Big Swole, in a match which the duo would lose to Allie and Sadie Gibbs. Shortly after this second appearance in AEW, Martinez would sign with WWE.
