Mrs. Foley’s baby boy has weighed in on what’s next for Mr. Foley’s baby boy.
Speaking on a recent episode of his “Foley Is Pod” podcast, the Hardcore Legend Mick Foley talked about what’s next for his son, Dewey, following the younger Foley’s departure from WWE. Mick said that his son would like to perform better with “fewer constraints” and noted that he would no doubt find employment elsewhere, given the intense hours Dewey worked as a member of WWE’s creative team.
Dewey Foley started with WWE in 2015, and later took a position as lead writer for 205 Live. Dewey would go on to join the writing team for the black and gold version of NXT. Dewey also made appearances on the “Holy Foley” reality series in 2016 and 2017.
Foley shared his thoughts on his son’s WWE run, stating: “He would be a really valuable guy to have when writing promos. I know I’m his dad and everyone thinks highly of their child, but I’m going on what people have told me. They really like him and I just wanted to say what a great job he did. If it is the end of his wrestling run, it’s a really great run.”
Foley would go on to say that he’s not sure what his son’s future holds, but he’s proud of his accomplishments.
