Mick Foley isn’t opposed to getting physical from time to time, but fans should not expect him to compete next month in the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
On the latest edition of WWE’s “The Bump,” Foley was asked about competing in next month’s match and shared why he won’t be in action. He said,
“On Royal Rumble, people get together and celebrate. It really makes people happy. So I’ll be tuned in, and maybe I’ll be…no, here’s the thing; I would have to lose 70 pounds just to be in terrible shape, so I am not going to be there.”
Foley’s final WWE match saw him compete in the 2012 Royal Rumble match. Foley was the #8 entrant and eliminated Justin Gabriel, Epico, and Primo before being thrown out.
