Kofi Kingston won the WWE Title at WrestleMania 35 from Daniel Bryan and lost it in October during the premiere episode of SmackDown on Fox to Brock Lesnar.
Kingston will challenge WWE Champion Bobby Lashley at the upcoming Money in the Bank pay-per-view event.
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley commented on Kingston’s reign by writing, “I always thought @TrueKofi deserved a better/longer run.”
