Trinity Fatu recently made her debut for Impact Wrestling, and now ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey has offered his perspective on the former WWE Superstar’s arrival.
In a recent appearance on the Women’s Wrestling Talk podcast, Bailey expressed his desire to team up with Fatu and admitted that her Glow Kicks are better than his. He said,
“This is a cop out answer, but I would love to share the ring with Trinity, who is making history, making waves, breaking the internet with every single appearance in IMPACT Wrestling. I have thought for many years that Trinity is one of the most talented wrestlers in the world, male or female, there is no one else that moves like she can. Either against each other or teaming together. Us, teaming together and getting to do the glow kicks together would absolutely break the internet.”
In a recent appearance on “The Spotlight” podcast, Terry Yaki revealed how a piece of priceless advice from Cody Rhodes ultimately led to his own matches in AEW.
You can check out some highlights from the interview below:
On how he got booked with AEW initially: “Me, Jay Lucas, and Larry Lazard did the Nightmare Factory and through the Nightmare Factory, we met with QT Marshall, Cody Rhodes, Baron Black, and guys like that. Cody Rhodes was talking to the whole class and he said, ‘closed mouths don’t get fed.’ That was the big thing. Me, Jay, and Larry looked at each other and said, ‘Well, we’ll ask about it.’ We asked about it. He gave us Shawn Dean’s information, hit him up, he was cool, shoutout Shawn Dean, I appreciate it. From there, we rolled in and it happened for us.”
On getting backsatge input at AEW: “We usually get a lot of advice from guys. Dalton Castle, he liked what we had. Jerry Lynn, shoutout to him, he gave us a couple of critiques and things like that as well. Everybody back there is so friendly and willing to give you information if you’re willing to accept it.”
