We reported earlier this month here on eWrestlingNews.com that Maria and Mike Kanellis were not happy with their current statuses within WWE. There were some reports that they had requested their releases but they were not granted. The real-life couple denied those reports but now Mike took to Twitter earlier today (Wednesday) to reveal that he is none too happy about not getting a spot in the WWE 205 Live Cruiserweight Championship #1 contender’s tournament. Mike has always been “upbeat” on Twitter regarding his WWE status for obvious reasons. A paycheck is a paycheck, right?! Unless you’re not happy. Anyways, Mike tweeted the following,
“Nice to know guys who aren’t even on the 205 roster get shots at Wrestlemania over me.. The tweet is a reference to the fact that Oney Lorcan from WWE NXT is facing Humberto Carrillo in a tournament match next week.
So I have a match next week & it’s not a tournament match.I’d like to say I’m surprised,but at this point it’s just par for the course.Nice to know guys who aren’t even on the 205 roster get shots at Wrestlemania over me. I’m really sick of the blatant disrespect. https://t.co/isBVzwtvBR
