Retired wrestling commentator Mike Tenay, known for his run with WCW and TNA (Impact Wrestling), claims he has been contacted by multiple wrestling companies to come out of retirement, most notably AAA for their TripleMania event on April 30th. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Larry Dallas and Konnan contacted Tenay to see if he would be interested in doing commentary for the English broadcast booth, but Tenay declined the offer.

Tenay said he was also contacted in the past by MLW and GCW to do commentary and was also approached by WWE at one point to do interviews for future documentaries but he turned all of those offers down as well. He is currently enjoying retirement life and feels that while there may be a time that he may return down the road, timing is everything. Tenay said he is happy financially and feels he has no reason to return to the wrestling business anytime soon.
