Current AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman was a recent guest on the “WTF with Marc Maron” podcast, where the controversial wrestler discussed a wide range of topics related to his career.
One area touched upon was The Iron Claw, the upcoming motion picture about the legendary Von Erich family. MJF confirmed to Maron that he will be playing Lance Von Erich in the film.
Zac Efron has been cast as Kevin Von Erich. The Salt of the Earth said,
“I just booked a role and just finished wrapping with a movie called Iron Claw. It’s about the Von Erichs. … [I played] Lance Von Erich, and he may or may not have held up the promoter for money. Who’s to say?”
