MJF Continues To Tease Joining WWE With Latest Twitter Activity

AEW star MJF has continued to tease leaving Tony Khan’s company in a recent retweet on Twitter.

MJF has made it well-known that his contract with AEW expires in January 2024 and has repeatedly teased leaving for WWE.

While some have believed this is part of MJF’s heel character, it’s reported that he has been at very real odds with Tony Khan over his pay.

On Twitter, MJF shared a tweet from Wade Keller, who reported that WWE are eager to sign the 26-year-old wrestler and that his recent issues with Khan would not deter Vince McMahon from making a lucrative offer.

MJF reportedly believes his current contract is unfair given the success his segments do in the ratings.

While MJF is said to have received a raise, it’s noted that he’s earning far, far less than signings over the past year, including Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, and Christian Cage.

MJF last competed at Double or Nothing, where he was destroyed by Wardlow and seemingly written off TV.

The Salt of the Earth missed a meet and greet with fans prior to the show after being “in no place to be in public.”
