MJF comments on AEW & NJPW's Forbidden Door event

MJF Not Interested In Working AEW & NJPW’s Forbidden Door Event

It would seem that MJF has absolutely zero interest in working any “dream matches” at AEW & NJPW’s “Forbidden Door” event.

During a Twitter Q&A, the self-proclaimed “Salt of the Earth” said he has no interest in participating in any type of “dream matches” or “fantasy booking” scenarios based on what the fans of AEW and NJPW would like to see take place at Forbidden Door.

MJF said,

“Stop booking me and tagging me in ‘dream matches’ for the forbidden door show. Not doing it.”

MJF would later add “Who?” as a response to wrestling a match with NJPW’s Hiroshi Tanahashi.

In a funny exchange between him and Dave Meltzer, Meltzer suggested that MJF go back in time to have a strap match with the late Wahoo McDaniel.

MJF responded by saying, “He couldn’t lace my boots.”

AEW & NJPW Forbidden Door is scheduled for Sunday, June 26th. The event will be held at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. It will be broadcast live on PPV. Tickets for the event go on sale on Friday, May 6th.
