AEW star MJF has said he’ll gladly jump to WWE if his pay is increased as part of a deal with Vince McMahon.

MJF has repeatedly teased joining WWE once his AEW contract expires in January 2024.

Speaking on the ‘For The Love of Wrestling’ podcast, MJF discussed becoming a WWE Superstar, saying:

“It’s an interesting question. I don’t know if you guys are aware of this but on January 1st of 2024, I’m going to be a free agent. Who here would want to see me in WWE? So, let me explain something to you people.

“I did not get into this business to make any of you happy. I got into this business to make as much money as humanly possible, and if Vince Kennedy McMahon is willing to shell out more money than Tony Khan, then yes, I would go to WWE.”

Speaking about what he’d do in WWE, MJF referenced the ‘Reign of Terror’ a term fans have used for when one Superstar is pushed too much as the top star.

Triple H’s run from 2002-2005 has been called a Reign of Terror, as has Jeff Jarrett’s time in TNA. MJF said:

“If I go, I’ll have a reign of terror that will make Triple H and Jeff Jarrett seem like they had short simple title reigns.”
