According to a report from ESPN, Major League Baseball is currently in talks with the Major League Baseball Players Association about pushing back the start of spring training. The idea is that the 2021 season for MLB wouldn’t begin until the end of April.
If an agreement is reached, this would be good news for WWE and the ThunderDome. Of course, the ThunderDome is currently set up at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, which is the home of the Tampa Bay Rays. The company had been told they would have to leave the venue prior to WrestleMania. If the MLB schedule changes, WWE would be able to stay in the the stadium for several additional weeks.
