Major League Wrestling announced the main event for its Never Say Never show in December in Orlando, Florida. The company announced that Matt Riddle will battle “Filthy” Tom Lawlor in the headlining match. It is billed as “a battle of two UFC fighters turned pro wrestlers.”
The announcement noted, “Following a controversial victory over Olympian Jeff Cobb earlier this month at MLW: One-Shot, Lawlor called out Cobb’s tag team partner and friend Matt Riddle. Riddle publicly answered the challenge last week and officials have now made the match official.”
Tickets are now on sale for the event here. The show will happen on December 7th.
