Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer first reported that the LA Park family is gone from MLW. The report stated that LA Park, LA Park, Jr, and El Hijo de LA Park were fired due to an incident at the March 31st tapings where they delivered reckless chairshots to Alex Hammerstone and Jacob Fatu, busting both men open.
Hammerstone and Fatu needed medical attention following the incident. The family was not part of the MLW AZTECA Underground tapings the following night.
MLW owner Court Bauer took to social media to confirm the incident.
Uh no. The problem was they betrayed the trust of their fellow wrestlers and deliberately hurt them. Someone ended up in the hospital last Thursday night. Zero tolerance for that.
