As we’ve noted, Miro (formerly known as Rusev in WWE) made his All Elite Wrestling (AEW) debut this week on Dynamite. Miro showed up as Kip Sabian’s best man and cut a promo. It was later reported that Miro has signed a deal with AEW that will last longer than a year.
Fightful later confirmed that report, along with adding that talks between Miro and AEW have been going on for a while now. The report also added that the deal is “long term pending an option on the deal.” The deal also allows Miro to work for New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), as well as a few select independent dates. However, it does prohibit other American TV dates, similar to Jon Moxley’s contract.
