More details have surfaced regarding the sexual assault allegations against Alberto Del Rio.
As noted, Del Rio, real name Jose A. Rodriguez Chucuan, was arrested on May 9th in San Antonio, Texas. The original assault took place on May 3rd and Del Rio reportedly fled the scene.
TMZ Sports reports that Del Rio allegedly accused the victim of being unfaithful. The victim says he smashed her cell phone and laptop and attempted to burn her passport.
The attack began around 10 p.m. on May 3rd and continued until 2:30 p.m. on May 4th. Del Rio slapped, choked and tied the victim up. At one point, he “shoved a sock into her mouth to keep [her] quiet”. The woman stated that she could not breathe during this time.
Also, Del Rio hit her several times in the head that left her “feeling woozy and dizzy.” She claims that Del Rio also sexually assaulted her with his penis and other various objects. She was adamant that she did not consent to any sexual activity.
The victim said that she is afraid of Del Rio and plans to leave the city of San Antonio, Texas as soon as possible. She apparently had multiple bruises on her face, arms, legs and neck.
Del Rio was released Sunday morning on a $50,000 bond.
