As most of you already know, Roman Reigns has been forced to take a leave of absence from WWE due to a recent leukemia diagnosis. “The Big Dog” actually dealt with the disease several years before, but was able to beat it into remission. Unfortunately, the disease is back and he must once again fight it off.
Reigns relinquished the WWE Universal Title as a result. He’s currently focusing on his health and spending time with his family. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Reigns just recently began undergoing treatment for his leukemia diagnosis. In the midst of all this, there has already been some speculation as to when Reigns will return.
He is currently scheduled to appear at the ACE Comic Con in Phoenix, Arizona from January 11th to 13th. Meltzer noted, however, that any talks in regards to Reigns’ return time frame are simply “a long way off.”
