As we reported earlier today here on eWn, Candice LeRae’s WWE contract has expired and she’s now a free agent.
In an update on this, Fightful is reporting that several people within WWE have said there are no hard feelings between the company, LeRae, and Johnny Gargano.
Multiple people in WWE say Gargano was very well liked backstage and often wanted to put over talent on the way out of the company. Additionally, he signed a short-term extension to make sure his run there ended on a good note.
The door is open for both Gargano and LeRae to return to WWE down the line if they choose to do so.
