— According to sources, Sami Zayn (aka El Generico) has been told to slow down and not do so many high spots after his first few matches in WWE’s NXT developmental territory. As we reported earlier here on the website, the early feedback on him is that he is really good, very intelligent and can cut a great promo. The fear is that if he doesn’t slow down in his matches that it will shorten his longevity if he is called up to the main roster.

— For those who always ask me about pay-per-view streams, I’ll throw this out there with the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view tonight. We are not affiliated with this website at all but I use wsnlive.com. Basically you sign up for an account, make it ‘elite’ (it’s like $10 or something for the entire month – all PPVs) and you get a HQ Quality stream. It works every time for us and never skips. Again, we’re not affiliated with the site but I always get asked so here you go.

— The Hollywood Reporter is featuring an article providing an update on Papa Berg’s lawsuit against WWE over the use of the “Badstreet USA” song. Berg discovered the song had been “improperly and erroneously registered” by WWE that resulted in all royalties being directed back to the company instead. Berg discovered this when he was approached by THQ to use the song in the “Legends of Wrestlemania” video game. U.S. District Judge Jane Boyle ruled the lawsuit would be tried in the state of Texas after WWE tried to get it moved to Connecticut – the location of the company’s headquarters.
