UPDATE: We reported earlier today that Renee Young will be leaving WWE in the very near future. In an update on this, she is expected to finish up over SummerSlam weekend or shortly thereafter. She reportedly notified WWE officials last week that she’d be leaving.
Young took to her Instagram account last week, saying, “I know what I bring to the table… so trust me when I say I’m not afraid to eat alone.”
As we previously reported here on eWn, WWE is not offering more money when Superstars’ contracts expire. This is due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While many wrestling fans think she’ll wind up in AEW alongside her husband Jon Moxley, she has had multiple “big time offers” from major networks for a variety of projects.

ORIGINAL: In an interesting move, Renee Young is expected to leave WWE, according to Bobby Burack from OutKick.com. WrestlingNews.co confirmed the news as well.
Per the report, Young will work this weekend at SummerSlam. As of this writing, there’s not much else known about her departure from the company. It was noted that she was the one who made the decision to leave WWE.
Young has yet to comment on her impending departure. Jon Alba added the following:
.@ReneeYoungWWE is very legitimately one of the most natural on-air hosts and interviewers pro wrestling has ever seen. Obvious #AEW rumors will swirl, but her value is so much higher than wrestling. She can be a top anchor with any national network. She’s that good. #WWE https://t.co/gZYdiCU53H
