UPDATE: As we reported earlier here on eWn (see original report below), the match order for WWE Survivor Series was changed at the last minute. Just prior to the show going live, there was a ton of reshuffling and the order that the matches would take place was changed. The changes were made at around 5:45PM EST.

The original match order was as follows:

* Kickoff Show: Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Damian Priest
* Opener: Roman Reigns vs. Big E
* Second Match: Women’s Survivor Series
* Semi-Main Event: Men’s Survivor Series
* Main Event: Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair

ORIGINAL: During the late afternoon hours on Sunday, the original plan was to have Big E. vs. Roman Reigns open WWE Survivor Series, while Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair would have headlined the event. About an hour before the show went live, there was a “major change” and WWE reversed those plans and instead had Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair open the show, which resulted in Big E. vs. Roman Reigns being moved to the main event spot.

Also, the Women’s WWE Survivor Series match was originally set to be the second match on the show but that was pushed back to later in the show in favor of the Men’s WWE Survivor Series match because the company didn’t want to have back-to-back women’s matches open the show.
