As we reported earlier today here on eWn, Road Dogg is returning to WWE in an executive role.
According to a report from Pwinsider, Road Dogg is taking over the role of Senior Vice President of Live Events. This is the position Jeff Jarrett held prior to his departure from the company last week.
Road Dogg was released in January of this year and later admitted to “begging” AEW President Tony Khan for a job.
Prior to his WWE release, Road Dogg was one of the members of the NXT team as a coach and producer. He had previously worked as the head writer of SmackDown.
For what it’s worth, Road Dogg is not backstage at tonight’s RAW.
