As reported on Wednesday here on eWn, WWE will not be airing their annual “Tribute to the Troops” special on the USA Network this year. This is a tradition that dates back sixteen years. While the show could always air on the WWE Network, the idea has not been discussed in WWE at this time.
WWE taped “Tribute to the Troops” back on December 6th in Jacksonville, North Carolina at the Marine Corps Air Station New River and Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.
The following matches were taped:
* Erik Rowan vs. Seth Rollins in a Boot Camp Match.
* The Kabuki Warriors vs. Sarah Logan & Natalya.
* Kevin Owens & Humberto Carrillo vs, Drew McIntyre & Andrade.
* Mark Henry, Alexa Bliss, Braun Strowman, Nikki Cross, and Lacey Evans and others also appeared.
