More WWE Superstars React To Conor McGregor’s Comments About The WWE Roster ‘Fearing Him’

As we reported last night here on eWn, the always controversial Conor McGregor took to Twitter and revealed why he wasn’t in attendance at WrestleMania 38 in Dallas, TX, claiming that the entire WWE roster fears him. He said,

“Why wasn’t I at Wrestlemania? They all fear me, that’s why.”

In an update on our earlier post, Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler, Becky Lynch, Sheamus, Sonya Deville, and others have since taken to Twitter to react to his comments.

You can check out some of their tweets below:

ORIGINAL: Former multi-division UFC Champion Conor McGregor has commented on his Twitter account about why he was not at this year’s WrestleMania 38 pay-per-view event.

Posting on his social media page, McGregor would write “Why wasn’t I at Wrestlemania? They all fear me, that’s why.”

Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre would respond to McGregor’s tweet, simply writing “Shut up McTapper.” The McTapper comment is in reference to four of McGregor’s six UFC losses coming via submission. Conor McGregor’s last two fights in the UFC have seen him defeated by Dustin Porier via TKO on both occasions.

Conor McGregor potentially making the transition to WWE from the UFC has been teased for several years now. Throughout the years, several WWE Superstars have commented on if they expect to see McGregor in the WWE. One such name was Sheamus, who back in January of 2021 would remark that “I don’t think it’s if, I think it’s a matter of when to be honest.”
