WWE 205 Live Superstar Mustafa Ali is still talking about wrestling WWE Champion Daniel Bryan on last week’s episode of SmackDown Live in the opening match that saw him lose. Despite the loss, the experience was a moment that Ali won’t forget.
During an interview on the latest episode of Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia, he reflected on the moment and seeing the 205 Live roster watch the match in the backstage area. He got emotional while talking about it which you can hear around the 31-minute mark.
“The entire 205 Live roster was watching my match at Gorilla and as soon as I came back they were the first ones to greet me. Obviously it’s a competition and we’re all trying to compete, and we’re all jockeying for position. But just to come back as you can see I’m getting kinda like. I hope that brought some eyes to 205 Live, but out of everything that happened — out of all the kind words I got today – that actually meant the most.”
