As seen at Sunday’s (May 16, 2021) WWE WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view event in Tampa, Florida at Yuengling Center on Peacock, Bobby Lashley retained the WWE Title against Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley in a triple threat match.
Post-match, WWE’s YouTube channel released this video of MVP promising some surprises for his client on tonight’s Raw.
“And still! The champ has proven time and time again that he is The All Mighty WWE Champion. There’s not a harder-working man in the industry. If you go to his Instagram, and see the workouts that he posts, mortal men will drop and die. But again and again and again, he has defended that title and shown the world that he’s the All Mighty. So I think it is now time for the champion to enjoy the fruits of his labor, am I right? Look, I’ve got everything lined up. I’ve got your trip. Let’s just say that tomorrow I’ve got some surprises for you. Take a little time off.”
